    KaribKart is an online property of Zyleck Technologies, Inc. Our goal is to use our technology and platform to connect people through ecommerce transactions. Your privacy is important to us. This privacy statement explains what personal data we collect from online customers, and how we use it to connect riders with drivers and to continue to improve the services we offer.

    Scope of this Privacy Policy

    KaribKart (“KaribKart,” “we,” “our,” and / or “us”) values the privacy of individuals who use our applications, websites, and related services (collectively, the “KaribKart Infrastructure”). This privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) explains how we collect, use, and share information from KaribKart users (“Users”), comprised of both KaribKart riders (“Riders”) and KaribKart drivers (including Driver applicants) (“Drivers”). In addition, your use of KaribKart Infrastructure is also subject to our Terms of Service Terms of Service

    What We Collect

    1. Information You Provide to Us

    Registration Information.

    When you sign up for a KaribKart account, we may collect the following information: your name, email address, and phone number. If you use any of the social media platforms that we support to sign up for KaribKart, we may also get basic information from your social media account profile like your name, gender, profile photo, and contact lists.

    Payment Method & Information.

    We use a third party processing companies to handle our payment. Therefore, when you add a credit card or payment method to your KaribKart account, the third party handles payments for us, which means your card information is handled by the third party. To keep your financial data secure, we do not store full credit card information on our servers.

    Contacting us directly, may see us requiring additional information from you. We will first seek to verify that who you say you are is actually who you are and therefore, when you contact our Customer Support Team, we may ask you for your name, email address, phone number, the contents of a message or attachments that you may have sent us, and other information you may voluntarily choose to provide us on our request.

    1. Information Collected During Your Use of the KaribKart Infrastructure

    Location Information.

    As an ecommerce service provider, KaribKart connects with customers online. To be effective at doing this and to provide the highest security, trust and minimize fraudulent activities, we may collect your location information at time of transacting with us.

    Device Information.

    KaribKart may get information from Users’ devices and such may include the following: IP address, mobile operating system version, phone carrier and manufacturer, web browser type, application installations, mobile advertising identifiers, device identifiers, push notification tokens, and, if you registered with your social media account, your social media account identifier. We may also choose to collect mobile sensor data from Drivers’ devices. Such may include the following: speed, direction, height, acceleration or deceleration and we use this information to improve location accuracy and analyze usage patterns.


    Usage Information.

    We are always seeking to improve our services and of such, we may automatically collect information about your interactions with the KaribKart Infrastructure, like the pages or other content you view, and the dates and times of your visits.

    Call and Text Information.

    KaribKart may work with one or more third party partner(s) to facilitate phone calls and text messages to / between / among customers. Consequently, we may receive information about these communications including the date and time of the call or SMS message, the parties’ phone numbers, and the content of any SMS messages.

    User Feedback.

    One of KaribKart’s main goal is to ensure that Users always enjoy the community, provide great services. To this end, Online customers may rate and review products and services and even may be provided with means to rate each other when transacting with Karibkart. When this is done, we receive the information about ratings and reviews and share Riders information about Drivers’ ratings and reviews and vice versa.

    Information from Cookies and Similar Technologies.

    We use cookies (small text files placed on your device), tracking pixels and similar technologies to provide our websites and online services and help collect data. Cookies allow us, among other things, to store your preferences and settings; enable you to sign-in; provide interest - based advertising; combat fraud; and analyze how our websites and online services are performing. KaribKart Apps use other identifiers, such as the advertising IDs, for similar purposes.

    We also use web beacons to help deliver cookies and gather usage and performance data. Our websites may include web beacons and cookies from third - party service providers.

    You have a variety of tools to control cookies, web beacons and similar technologies, including browser controls to block and delete cookies and controls from some third - party analytics service providers to opt out of data collection through web beacons. Your browser and other choices may impact your experiences with the KaribKart Infrastructure.

    1. Information Collected from Third Parties

    Third Party Partners.

    We work with Third Party providers to ascertain, where necessary, additional information about you. Such information may include demographic data, payment information, or fraud detection information. On the occasions when we do receive such information from our third party partners we combine it with other information that we have about you to better serve you and our community.

    Third Party Services.

    You may choose to register with KaribKart or otherwise link your KaribKart account with a third party’s service (such as your social media account– LinkedIn, Facebook or Google +), if you do, we may receive directly from those services the same type of information we collect from you as described above.

    1. How We Use the Information We Collect

    We use the information we collect from Online customers to:

    • Personalize the KaribKart experience for you;
    • Provide you with customer support;
    • Provide, improve, expand, and promote the KaribKart Infrastructure;
    • Analyze how the KaribKart community uses the KaribKart Infrastructure;
    • Communicate with you, either directly or through one of our partners, which may include purposes for marketing and promotional;
    • Send you push notifications and text messages;
    • Facilitate transactions and payments;
    • Find and prevent fraud; and
    • Respond to compliance, trust and safety issues as they may arise. may include auto incidents, disputes between Online customers, and requests from government authorities.
    1. Sharing Collected Information

    I.            Sharing Between Users

    Sharing between Online customers.

    Online customers who connect their KaribKart accounts to one of the social media accounts we support (LinkedIn, Facebook & Google+) may also be able to see their mutual specific social media friends.

    II.            Sharing Between KaribKart and Third Parties

    Sharing API and Integration Partners.

    Connecting to the KaribKart Infrastructure through integration with a third party service that we support, may see us share information about your use of the KaribKart Infrastructure with that third party. We may also share your information with our third party partners in order to receive additional information about you and to create offers that may be of interest to you.

    Sharing Third Party Services.

    The KaribKart Infrastructure may allow you to connect with other websites, products, or services that we don’t have control over. If you use these services, we may provide the third party with information about you to allow them to provide the service to you. However, in such instances as may facilitate, we can’t speak to the privacy practices of these third parties. Therefore, we encourage you to read their privacy policies before deciding whether to use their services.

    Sharing Service Providers.

    To provide you the best services we possible can we do work with third party service providers to perform some services on our behalf, and in doing so we may share your information with such service providers to help us provide the KaribKart Infrastructure.

    III.            Other Sharing We may share your information with third parties in the following cases:

    • In negotiations or in relation to a change of corporate control such as a restructuring, merger or sale of our assets;
    • A government authority may request information and if we think disclosure is required or appropriate in order to comply with laws, regulations, or a legal process;
    • With law enforcement officials, government authorities, or third parties if we think doing so is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of the KaribKart community, KaribKart, or the public;
    • If we offer and you signed up for a promotion with another User’ s referral or promotion code, with your referrer to let them know about your redemption of or qualification for the promotion;
    • With our insurance partners to help determine and provide relevant coverage in the event of an incident;
    • To provide information about the use of the KaribKart Infrastructure to potential business partners in aggregated or de - identified form that can’ t reasonably be used to identify you; and
    • Other instance that you consent to the sharing.
    1. Your Choices

    Email Subscriptions.

    From time to time we may choose to send you commercial and or promotional emails, but you can always unsubscribe from such emails. However, for transactional and relational emails, we will still send those about your account use of the KaribKart Infrastructure.

    Text Messages.

    From time to time we may choose to send you commercial and or promotional text messages, but you can unsubscribe from such by texting the word END from the mobile device receiving the messages to the long or short code we will provide you (check with our customer support through the contact information provided at our website for the long or short code we use to serve your area). You may also opt out of receiving all texts from KaribKart (including transactional or relational messages) by texting the word STOPALL from the mobile device receiving the messages to the same long or short code our customer service support provides you. However, please note that by opting out of receiving all texts this may impact your use of the KaribKart Infrastructure, including our rights to subsequently terminate your account.


    Push Notifications.

    You may choose to opt out of receiving push notifications through your device settings. However, please note that opting out of receiving push notifications may impact your use of the KaribKart Infrastructure, including our rights to subsequently terminate your account.

    Location Information.

    You always have the choice to prevent your device from sharing location information at any time by making such changes through your Device’s operating system’s settings.

    Editing and Accessing Your Information.

    You can review and edit certain account information by logging in to your account settings and profile. If at any time you wish to terminate your KaribKart account, please contact us through our Customer Support with your request. If you so choose to terminate your account, we will deactivate it, but we may retain information from your account for a period of time and may disclose it in a manner consistent with our practices under this Privacy Policy for all accounts on file. Additionally, we may retain information from your account to collect any fees owed, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, analyze usage of the KaribKart Infrastructure, assist with any investigations, prevent fraud, enforce our Terms of Service, or take other actions as required or permitted by law.

    1. Other

    Data Security.

    We have a commitment to protect the data of the KaribKart community. Nevertheless, as much as we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, we cannot guarantee 100 % security with the measures we take, of such we cannot guarantee security of your data.

    Children’s Privacy.

    We do not enter into arrangement with children under 16, of such KaribKart is not directed to children, and we will not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we find that a child under 16 has registered with us and has given us personal information, we will take steps to delete that information. If you believe that a child under the age of 16 has given us personal information, please contact us at Customer Support.

    Changes to Our Privacy Policy.

    From time to time we may make changes to this Privacy Policy. If and when we make any material changes, we will let you know through the KaribKart Infrastructure, by email, or other communication. However, we also encourage you to read this Privacy Policy from time to time in order to stay up - to - date about our privacy practices. Therefore, as long as you use the KaribKart Infrastructure, you are agreeing to this Privacy Policy and any updates we make to it.
